Class 3 used the money they raised during our class restaurant project to part fund their trip to the chocolate factory in Hawkshead. It was definitely worth it! Just look at those happy chocolatey faces!

Quicksticks Hockey Festival

Class 3 have worked very hard during our entrepreneurial topic 'You're Hired' to turn our school hall into a restaurant.

The children were responsible for all aspects of the restaurant including choosing a name, designing a logo, devising the menu, budgeting for the food, preparing the 3 courses and serving their parents!

All children had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. From the comments below it is clear the children learned many new things about themselves and were extremely proud of their achievement:

'I learned that to be a leader you need to stay calm under pressure.'

'I was proud of the class for doing their role as best as they could and for trying their best.'

'I learned that everything will go well if you are well prepared and don't worry!'

'My Mum was so happy!'

'Now I would like to open a snack bar for the homeless.'
